Level 2 Horticulture

To do this course…

Students should have completed Level 1 Science or Level 1 Horticulture.

What you do in this course…

You will build knowledge about practical applications for horticulture and agriculture, and this will include doing practical and written work around the life cycle of plants, weed control, soil properties and different plant types and their uses.

This course only offers Internal assessments.

This is a good choice if…

• You enjoyed Horticulture in Year 11
• You’re keen on working outdoors, you enjoy practical ‘hands-on’ work, and you’re not afraid to work hard!
• You are looking at attaining Level 3
