Level 3 Economics

To do this course…

Students should have Level 2, and it would help if you have previously studied a Commerce subject.

What you do in this course…

You will explore how the government tries to correct problems like inequality, unemployment and growth by using different methods such as tax, laws, subsidies, welfare etc.  You will also look at how businesses make decisions on what to produce and how they can make a profit.

There is a mix of Internal and External assessments offered.

This is a good choice if…

• You’re interested in economic issues, both local and international
• You enjoy developing analytical and solutions skills
• You are looking at attaining UE
