Course Description

To do this course…

Students should have interest and ability in cultural art and design; having completed the Level 2 Culutral Art course would also be useful.

What you do in this course…

You will build on and refine skills learnt in Level 2 Cultural Art. You will continue to explore Māori and Pasifika designs and knowledge, using sculpture-making skills appropriate to your work – this could include using papier-mâché, paper and card, clay or plaster of Paris, and using raranga and whatu skills to create work.

 

Assessment for this course is a mix of Internal standards and a completed Folio of work from across the year.
