Level 1 Digital Art

To do this course…

Students who enjoy drawing and designing visual effects and photography will enjoy digital art.

What you do in this course…

You will learn about design and photography, and will work to design a logo and advertising for a specific theme.     You’re going to develop skills to think in a creative and innovative way to refine ideas, and become familiar with software like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Assessment for this course is a mix of Internal standards and a completed Folio of work from across the year.

This is a good choice if…

• You enjoy artistic and creative expression, especially through digital media
• You have a strong work ethic and solid time management
• You are looking at studying Digital Art at UE level in Years 12 and 13

On the Subject Pathway Map, this subject leads to a University Approved subject at Levels 2 and 3
