Course Description
What you do in this course… |
You will refine and develop your current skills in image making and will learn how to communicate ideas through pictorial conventions such as composition, camera angle, framing, format, contrast etc. You will also learn how to develop your own ideas through learning about self-selected artists’ themes, ideas and technique You will need to be able to think independently, creatively and imaginatively to develop your own ideas. You would also need take photographs in your own time and attend after school tutorials. Assessment for this course is a mix of Internal standards and a completed Folio of work from across the year. |

Recommended Prior Learning
Open Entry Homework and after school workshops are compulsory.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
All students must have a 60 page Visual Diary, a pencil and an eraser.
Students will need to contribute to printing costs.
